Broadband ADSL (Commercial) Commercial Grade Broadband provides higher reliability, faster throughput, and lower latency. It suits small business with a few computers connected, up to larger offices with 30 or more computers, including the provision of linking multiple offices (WAN) and work from home connections into the main office. We can incorporate dedicated email servers at our end to reduce the technical skills needed in your office.

Easynet commercial broadband good news:

  • Our broadband is available Australia-wide, wherever broadband works.
  • Includes 5 email boxes 10MB each
  • The data used between midnight and 6am EST does not count towards usage at all. You get unlimited data and full speed at this time, so schedule your major downloads for this time and you get commercial grade with unlimited data!
  • If you wish to include additional flat rate data for the data that is counted there are upsize options. Additional 1,2,3,5MB options are available
  • All connections are given a static IP and you can order extra IPs
  • All connections are given a nation wide local-call dial-in phone number for times when the computer is away from the modem, or you have an emergency such as a modem or LAN failure. (Charges apply if you use hours or data via dial-up)
  • The email include commercial grade junk mail detection and removal FREE (Worth $150/month/mailbox). This removes over 95% of all junk mail you would otherwise receive. Executable mail attachments are also removed. (Virus removal however is your responsibility)
  • The minimum term is only six months. However if for some reason you need to close the account earlier than this, you do not have to pay for each of the months remaining, but you do pay an early termination fee of $120
  • Broadband setup is $110 plus any modem costs. However we often have specials for both of these that vary from month to month. Call for details when you are ready. Our standard modem and hardware prices can be viewed here although for commercial applications we have many other choices of hardware that may suit your application better.
  • Flexible monthly payment options include: cheques, money orders, or automatic or manual processing of Bankcard, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, and AMEX. Each month is invoiced monthly in advance.
  • Excess MB are not rounded up for invoicing. They are pro-rata calculated for actual MB and you are charged only for what you have actually used.
  • There are no session time-outs. Stay on as long as you like.
  • In the members area of our web site you can review all your invoices and payments, usage, change credit card details, passwords etc, all on secure encrypted web pages.
  • We offer the highest grade of technical support. Most of our phone staff, personal trainers and staff sent to sites, are graduate electronic engineers or computer scientists and are good problem solvers. Support is available 24hrs a day (via pager out of hours)
  • You can associate domains with your account. (Domain purchase and hosting is low cost)
  • SDSL is also available.

Plain English Terms:

  • Usage based services charge for any additional data used beyond the included amount.
  • If you move premises your broadband account is terminated and you open a new one for the new phone line. Fees apply for the change over. However we can retain your email address and your account history.
  • Invoicing is monthly in advance by email. To minimize costs in this highly competitive market, invoices will be made directly by our commercial wholesaler. Invoices are also statements. A positive balance means your account is in credit, a negative balance means you owe money. Receipts are also sent by email.
  • You can specify any email address for us to use for invoices and correspondence.
  • Temporary account blocking normally occurs 10 days after invoice, so you have around 5 days to pay plus 5 days for it to get to us and be applied to your account.
  • Our accounts system accepts advance payments and automatically applies portions of them to each new invoice as appropriate.
  • Unused MB do not carry forward month to month
  • Your months run in calendar months.
  • If you have set your account payment method for automatic credit card processing, then other services you take from us (once-off, or recurring) and any additional MB will be processed the same way. Our system or our wholesalers system will still send email statements and receipts as appropriate. Invoices for most other services will be via Easynet email.
  • If you breach our acceptable usage policy your email and possibly dial in access will be terminated without notice.
  • Any variation to our prices, up or down, will be notified by email in advance. All announcements are emailed to the same email address we email your statements to.
  • Even though our system is reliable and robust we do not provide guarantee of data backup for any data you keep on our servers. You must keep your own backups. Also transfer your incoming emails from our mail servers to your own computers frequently.
  • Bounced cheques and failed credit cards may result in you being invoiced for the costs incurred & those charged by the bank.
  • If your phone carrier disconnects your phone for late payment, or other reasons, then Telstra will usually physically disconnect the broadband wiring at the exchange at the same time. If this happens it is classed as you terminating your broadband contract as there is no valid phone number for service to be provided. When you get your phone line is reinstated, the broadband is not reinstated.  If the disconnection is within six months of broadband connection the $60 termination bond is also payable and due. Then to get reconnected a new broadband setup fee is applicable $121 (This gets paid to Telstra for set-up at the exchange)
  • Should you wish to terminate your service, you need to notify us at least 18 days prior to the commencement of your last month. (EG notify us by the 12th of a 30 day month, then the last invoice will be 1st of the next month to cover that next month and service will close at the end of that next calendar month) Pro-rata closure periods are not possible. Early termination penalties will also apply if the service has not been at this location for at least six months.

Planning information:

For all the ancillary things you may require (LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Routers, training, reconfiguration etc) Easynet's policy is to quote fixed price wherever possible to avoid price overruns and unpleasant cost surprises. Ask us for a quote. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Many businesses are getting us to remove their mail servers and set up their mail boxes at our end as a subset of our main Easynet mail server. This makes mail delivery faster, and the mail server is properly maintained at no cost. It removes your need for high priced technical staff or contractors. Perhaps your company should consider this - talk to us to see if it would suit you.
