Callerlab definition: Starting formation - eight chain thru or parallel waves. All pass thru. The dancers now on the outside partner trade. Ends in double pass thru formation.

Teaching suggestions: for some reason, this move has not caught on with a lot of callers. As a result, many dancers are not familiar with it and look up in horror when they hear it, or just pass thru and forget the partner trade on the outside.

When called from facing couples in standard arrangement, "pass to the centre" has the same result as "dive thru". However it can be very interesting, particularly when used from ocean waves. Remind the outside dancers to partner trade after passing thru.
