Big One Music released Carmel's first album, Another Number which received good reviews in London. Her promotional tour in 2002 produced high sales and a music video, filmed on location at Portmeirion, North Wales. The album, homage to the cult television series, The Prisoner features guest voice of David Nettheim who played a minor role in the episode, Schizoid Man. Erica Crocker (daughter of Barry Crocker) sings lead in two tracks. The album mixes thought-provoking music with electronica, pop, rock and classical; covering the various emotive aspects of the controversial series with interpretations of main theme and incidental music. Future Legend Records took over the publishing license for Another Number and also produced Cult Themes of the 80s. Carmel contributed her own re-work of the Bond theme Ah-Ha track, The Living Daylights with the stunning voice of Tina Harrop. The UK-based record company, Blue Fire Music Inc loved Carmel's track about Bill Gates so much they included it in their Snakebite series, released on the compilation album, Snakebite City 11 in 2003.
